At The Truffle Place, we take great care of our forests, truffle foragers and truffle hunting dogs.
Each truffle gets examined to ensure it’s fully ripe before being removed from the ground. Foraging truffles too early can permanently damage the spread of spores.
Over-foraging and use of inappropriate instruments can potentially destroy our forests and lead to truffle extinction.
Our foragers and dogs are well trained and closely monitored to ensure safe and sustainable foraging and premium products.
We work with world's best truffle suppliers from Australia, Spain and Italy and supply highest quality truffles year-round.
Hatchi
Meet Hatchi, our first truffle snuffler!
Hatchi was born in 2020 and has just completed his training.
Hatchi is incredibly loving and emotional. He enjoys extra attention and crazy runs in the forest.
Hatchi loves everyone and everyone loves Hatchi!
Zara
Zara is our newest edition to the truffle snuffle club.
She was born on New Years day of 2021 and all of her family comes from Italy. Her Mum and Dad are excellent truffle hunters.
Zara is our naughty girl. She's got a great character and a lot of cheekyness. She would smash Hatchi's breakfast and dinner any day and wouldn't think twice stealing his toys.
She loves kissies and snuggles and most of all food, lots of it!

Our own truffle forest is located in the east part of Bulgaria and it is naturally rich in Tuber Uncinatum, Tuber Borchii and Tuber Aestivum.
